Tough scenario,,,,,add input.
Youre the director andyou have a big budget and were doing the DLR story. Who would you cast as DLR ? This is a toughy and that's a testament to how unique DLR is.

Joe Thunder, of course! No....hmmmm....Jason Lee did a good job playing the lead singer in Almost Famous....could he do Roth? Probably not.... If he had the look for the part, Phillip Seymore Hoffman could probably pull it off but not because he is similar to Roth, he is just that good of an actor. But he would first have to go on a serious diet. That is a tough one. I would probably have to have an open call and hope to find some brilliant young unknown to cast. I would be very interested to her other people's ideas on this one. -
