VH1 Behind The Music: Van Halen sey to air 2004

Just talked to my friend at VH-1 and it looks like they have just wrapped shooting the first series of interviews with the band for an upcoming Behind The Music special set to air in Sept. 2004. the show will be 2 hours long just like the Aerosmith episode. So far everyone has been interviewed except DLR. My friend said they even have new footage with Gary but Eddie, Al and Michael don't want Dave involved. The Dave part of the show will be told through archival footage that VH-1 has in their vaults. This should be an interesting show. I mean even Journey and Styx had all the members included. I guess VH-1 has been trying to get VH and G'N'R for years and VH only agreed to do it now because of the upcoming reunion tour.

Will believe it when I see it. Dave shouldn't bother participating anyway. Behind The Music is for bands who are clearly past it. I can see a Halen show being overdue, but let Eddie, Al, Mike, Sammy and Gary hog the whole thing.

Would be willing to bet the 'archival footage' is nothing more than old Kirschner In Concert clips, and will be comprised of nothing any serious collector doesn't already have.
