    DLR and Van Hagar REMASTERS

I sincerely hope that if they do in fact REMASTER the Van Hagar catalog, that they will also REMASTER the Dave solo albums as well.

Dave's early solo work reminds me of most of the Van Halen catalog. You can hear the bass and you know it's there, but you can't fucking FEEL it.

I think Sheehan's bass would sound NICE once it's REMASTERED!

DLR remasters are not on the current WB release schedule. If you want to hear DLR remastered buy his "best of" that was released on Rhino records a few years back. It is remastered and sounds great.

Sheehan is in my opinion the best bass player in the world.
He blows Michael Anthony away. You ever notice that on Dave's first 2 albums how much the bass pumps and thumps. I am being totally serious here.

    Umm..
His first 2 solo albums were CFTH and EEAS.
If you are talking about SkyScraper..
it had it's moments.. But I didn't notice the bass on that album like it presented itself on EEAS

Yeah. Skyscraper was Dave's OU812 as far as sub par sound.

I only wish they had made it to the "Best of" album.

I guess I'll have to wait for the REMASTERS to come out. Quite honestly I think my vinyl copy of EEAS sounds better than my CD copy.
