According to melodiccrockofshit.com: " It seems the band will be content on letting the music and their upcoming live performances speak for themselves. I am informed there will be little - if any - media interviews for either the tour or the Best Of Volume 2 release!

It would be kind of stupid for them not to do press on the album or tour. But hey, I'm no PR person or anything, so what do I know?

a) that Eddie was never the be-all, end-all of Van Halen
b) that Eddie wasn't always the sole pilot of Van Halen
c) there is a demand for Dave to return
All that's left for Ed and Co is to put their heads in the sand and say "Dave Who"?
Plus, everyone remembers how they were ultimately burned by all the bullshit they spread in the press in 1996.
Van Hagar is better off not doing any press for the simple reason that their interview skills are more mundane than the music they make.
Roth was the only one to pass through Van Halen that was even quotable in the first place anyway.
