    "Agree or Disagree?"...

    I know most posters here are DLR synchophants, but could I start a discussion w/o being pissed-on and called a fucking queer, please?:

    His (sometimes) combative "agrre/disagree?" after every fucking question make DLR sound like a true retard, imo...

    I'm tryin' to really support him and mainly love his show and its direction (other than his laughing like a fucking hyena after damned near every witty (to him) statement he makes) , but, damn, Dave, cut me a break!!

He is trying to engage the caller - to encourage a response and at the same time conceding that what he just said was nothing more than his opinion. It does not make him sound like a "true retard". Quite the contrary, it makes him sound like an enlightened, respectful individual who can make a passionate, objective argument without having a personal stake in the discussion.

                                                          OK, point taken on the typo. It just irks me that most here cannot discuss anything remotely critical of DLR (who is one of my childhood idols, but whom I've never had any sexual thoughts of...) w/o reverting to that stupid "pissing monkey" emoticon or calling anyone disagreeing w/you a fag...

                                                          I REALLY want to be able to listen to Dave Radio for more than a month or so, but he's really coming off as a poor interviewer (while maintaining his status as one of the best interview). Do any of you know of any other sucessful interviewer who voice so many throw-away comments/questions? i.e. interupting his callers/interviewees w/"whatta ya think about that?", etc, when they're obviously gonna answer???

                                                          We're fans; he's gotta win over all those others out there. I just want him to get better so they keep him around.
