I caught the segment last night as well with STERN on LETTERMAN. STERN was Pissed....he wasn't on the show to schmooze and laugh....he was very serious and sided with DLR, Adam Carolla and Rover, repeating that each one of these guys cannot create high ratings immediately after Stern left. I think Letterman got alittle nervous at Stern blasting Les Moonves, since Letterman's show is on CBS.

Stern also said that Les Moonves WILL FIRE all three guys (Roth, Carolla & Rover) without giving them ample time to develop their respective shows.

I've never see Stern more MAD, than at those suits at CBS!!!

Stern just reinterated the fact that it takes 12-15 months to create an audience out of the vacuum that was left, and it COULD be done...

He was vague with his comment about WHO they'd fire...saying, "Moonves will fire them and blame them for the low ratings..."

in another rant about Moonves...I thought it was fucking hilarious...

Letterman kept trying to give Moonves credit...but Stern kept saying it was bullshit...

it was really fucking hilarious to be honest...the shirt was classic...

Is Moonves ultimately in charge of it too or is it a different branch of the corporation? I guess Letterman is pretty untouchable these days anyhoo...

Letterman is a CBS show. i was surprised they allowed Stern to be on.

none of the promos i saw listed Stern as a guest that night, they only mentioned "Sidewalk Idol" and Carrie Underwood.
