Children of Bodom?

I like to be open minded and try to listen to a lot of different stuff. Get out of the box of what's on the radio 24 7 and maybe I've just heard the "bad" songs but so far listening to this stuff makes my ass hurt like a shower scene from Oz. I think I'd rather listen to Phil Anselmo try and play guitar for Damage Plan. What's the big deal about this band? What the hell is a Bodom anyway? After listening to it I'm thinking it should be called Children of a NonSinging Mother F^&$#%. Am I taking crazy pills or does this shit just Suck?

Out of single songs: "Children Of Bodom".
Albums: "Hatebreeder" or the latest one.

The big deal is the fact that these guys can fuckin' play!

(Bodom is a lake in Finland, where a quite brutal murder occurred way back in the 60's. Which is still not solved.)

I made a B line to Amazon and went down the line sampling songs. The band sounds tight but I can't get past the vocals at all. I'm not to hip on the high pitched death metal screech anymore
