Did Vallerie get enough of Ed's money that she no longer has to work?

Relatives of mine used to see her shopping all the time in Park City, Utah. Vals brother used to have a photography studio there and maybe he still does.

I know Vallerie tried to be Regis Phylbins side kick but lost the gig to Kelly Rippa and then Val tried for some other work. She really seemed to be desperately trying to find work for awhile and now you hear nothing of her.

I guess she got a lot of Ed's money now so why work?

She didn't get any from the 2004 "grab your cash" tour. They were already legally seperated at that point, and in CA at least, once that happens, anything you make is yours. Maybe that's why they charged so much for tickets and Ed took such a big share compared to Sam & Mike. To get back what Yoko took.

PS - anyone ever notice how they kinda looked the same for a while? I wonder if it's the same thing when sometimes people look like their pets.

I think this justifies Ed's drinking, see that Yoko jr. made a big cash grab during the divorce.

I severely doubt Ed had any money when they divorced. He probably legally gave all his cash to a large oak tree in a Los Angeles park in the middle of a two and a half month lighter fluid drinking bender.

And he asked the park bench for financial advice. The bench told him to give it all to the oak tree.
He heard it when he was laying on it, just before he was almost arrested for vagrancy.

Val can keep cranking out those Lifetime movies to make a few bucks, plus she made good bank from that One Day At A Time shit and wasn't one of those child stars who frittered it all away on a decade-long coke binge...

Plus, the more of Ed's money she gets, the better.

Realistically, Ed doesn't need much to do what he does anyway. Paint thinner and Ripple don't cost THAT fucking much, fer chrissakes! And from what I've heard produced outta 5150, his mixing console consists of a boom box with a dictaphone mic hooked up to it, so recording costs are pretty minimal...

That's funny shit Terry!! Question is? If there is ever the long awaited reunion with a new album, will Ed insist on recording at 5150?

Unless Ed's money got fleeced by a business or investment manager he's probably doing alright. The guy always dressed like he got his clothes at Good Will or the Salvation Army. He lived in the same house for years. What Ed spent money on was cars.

I think Eddie's most expensive plaything was Vallerie. Her closets of clothes, makeup, and Malibu beachhouse cost a small fortune.

I'm sure he will, although he really shouldn't. Nothing that's come outta that studio SOUNDED that great, IMO. Plus, a reunited CVH is just gonna be better served recording in an outside studio so there will be no home-field advantage, and also if they're paying for studio time Ed won't have the luxury of dragging his ass for several years to make an album...

Ever notice that it took longer and longer to put those albums out once he built that studio, going as far back as 1984? Think the quickest one was Balance, of which a lot of the pre-production work and recording was done outside of 5150.
