No. But if I were you, I'd switch over to 0.09's. (I use 0.10's myself) It's gonna be only a bit heavier than what you're used to, but the chance of breaking a string is smaller.
If that don't work, try a thinner pick/plectrum/whateveryacallit. From "heavy" to "medium" etc...

I like 0,08 strings..but when I play hard gypsy mode and I hit the e string on a very high note it sometimes breaks.

I gotta parker fly deluxe guitar..if i put 0,10 strings on it it might help but the 0,08 strings are more flexable.
Anybody an expert?
