Who's going to the New York City show? (pre-party?)

All right, Thursday night is the big night!!!!! Who's going to be there? Anyone interested in a drink or two?

Of the places I checked out, and I think "Smith's Bar and Restaurant" on the NW corner of 44th and 8th is where my friends and I will be. There's a few fancier places a little closer (one across the street), but Smith's is only a block away and looks like a good t-shirt and jeans type of place. I'll be there about 5:30 or 6:00.

If someone has a better idea I'm all ears...

We're going to have a kick ass time. I've heard good things about the Nokia Theatre - no bad place to stand from what I hear.

I saw Social D at the Nokia. Great sound, great place. Got there after the 2nd opening band, and walked right up to the front. Stood 1 person behind the baracade all night. Great place!

I was wondering the same thing. I do want to get something to eat before I head into the Theatre, and I need to wait for one of my friends to get into the city. I'm thinking of going in around 7? I'm flexible...

Smith's is a great neighborhood bar. I spent most of my nights on vacation there for a little bit at least to do a jaagerbomb or 2. The older guy Pete will hook you up if you tip him right. Good bar burger too.
