awesome testimonial on cvh

ok so two nights ago i was in Ft. Worth seeing the greatest power metal band known to man i.e. DRAGONFORCE and there was this like 45 year old mexican guy there talking about all of the awesome concerts he has been to. he started to talk about this festival he went to in 78 or 79 where like aerosmith nugent journey elo and many other awesome bands were playing he also metioned that CVH was there, so i asked him (i kinda knew what the answer was) "what band was the best there in terms of showmanship etc." and he thought for about 3 seconds and said "van halen, they really stole the show and made all the other bands look as if they were the one that had only been playing for a few years"

i thought that was awesome considering all of the heavy weights that were also playing there

That is a great story, and the fact that guy remembers it nearly 30 years on is even cooler!
