My brother built this guitar for me from scratch.The body is Ash The neck is perdominatley tiger maple. The fingerboard is blood wood. Then it has two seymore duncan humbuckers: The Screaming Demon and Jazz (Neck Position). And the guitar sounds great.
I donīt like the headstock shape and the positioning of the pots. But tell me more about "bloodwood"! How hard a wood is it? Do you think itīll be durable enough for you to still enjoy your guitar in 20 years?

Blood wood is actually harder than rosewood, and it has a denstiy grater than one (it will sink).
So as a result is it neck heavy?

Actually the neck is not that heavy. Just the body is.
