Images in signature

Can the images in signatures be side by side rather than up and down.

For example:

instead of

Image 2

This is maybe a bit hypocritical but some of the sigs people use here are a pain in the ass.

Who wants to have to hit page down twice to get past a 1 line post...?

I just use the arrow keys. Press down, stop, hold it down -- all that.
