That b&W photography is A+++ front and back by the best photographer in the world. The Green/Silver combo is clean and class all the way.
#2-DiverDown purely on effect, less is more in the 1st degree. Showing how easy it is to convey an impact through a basic image. Early on was not diggin it w/o the logo but to this day it illustrates the band and going down in one breath.

favorite version of the logo-spilts pic of Dave.
#4-Van Halen-evil nasty raw crackle.
#5-Fair Warning-Always felt so much more coulda been done on the best of the batch. Oh Well, I'd like to have a litho of it for what it is.
#6-1984 Millions of better ways to do this one. Hell, Western Exterminator logo would have been better to me.
