That's great - there's no peddling tequila, no Ronald McDonald lead singer, no capri pants, no Peavey guitars, no ballads written by Desmond Child, no suck ass songs about eagles flying or driving 55, no band members kissing onstage, no band members' kids onstage... oh you get the idea...
Gotta give props to whoever the fan was who shot that years ago from the skybox at the Montreal Forum (from behind a pane of glass, no less!).
It's the way the song was MEANT to be played and sung.

Great stuff for being back in the large format VHS days. How the fuck did he get that big-ass camera in there without getting caught??? I'm lucky if I can sneak a fucking one-hitter or a sneak-a-toke into a concert let alone a fucking 1.5-foot long video camera!

The VH3 clips are very sad. If you listen to the '84 version of Panama then the '98 version you get the impression that tone wise Ed was trying to get back to his ealrier day - but the Peavey's just weren't built to deliver that.

The same way we were able to sneak 2 kegs into a skybox before...wrap them up in a box wrapped with birthday wrapping paper! Make sure to bring balloons, cards...more presents...you get the idea.
