RollingStone. com reports: "From the realms of We`ll believe it when we see it: A friend of ours with a retail source has told us that the long awaited Guns N Roses album "Chinese Democracy" has gotten a firm release date of Nov 21. Under normal circumstances we`d laugh at such assertations - after all, this album has reportedly cost more than $13 million and has been "due out" since 1998. But whenever someone has actually managed to get Axl to speak in the past few months, he`s said it`s coming out before the end of the year. Plus, there was that GnR tour announcement the oher day that alluded to a release date some time in the next two months. Dare to dream, folks. Dare to dream."

Yes, I am starting to believe that it will come out although I doubt it will be on the first actual release date.

Promos were played for them touring here in Cleveland..

Might as well have a riot warning or something in the promo...

It's looking more realistic everyday...

I'll buy Democracy when it comes out...

But I really don't feel the need to see GN'R right now...

Since I've heard the album (or what was passing for it a few months ago) I'm not excited in the least by the news.

I figure Scott Weiland has one more overdose left in him and then he's done. Maybe then AxHole will come to his senses?

The fact that it is coming out this decade makes it some kind of event.

I think it will sell by the shit load whether it`s good or not, with people just curious to see what all the fuss is about.

You can see some logic behind the touring: get out there and get the GnR name in the news before the album comes out rather than just releasing it to a cynical public.

And whether you and I like it or not, this fake GnR have been tearing down the house everywhere they play, judging by fan reaction rather than the critics.

I can see the attraction for the kiddies...they missed G'N'R....they were more interested in BARNIE:p at the time................

Well, the people at the GNR shows said it sounds amazing. Pretty much anyone can replicate a guitar sound...you don't need to be Slash to sound like Slash.

Velvet Revolver is a joke. The first thing I noticed when hearing it is how washed up Slash is. He's recycling his own stuff from 1987.

One of the songs guitar-wise is a total rip-off from It's So Easy.
