    Alice In Chains 2006 Tour

    I'm going to see them this Wednesday at the 9:30 Club in D.C.

    For those of you who have gone, let me know how you liked Duvall singing and the set list. I've read that they do an acoustic set some nights.

    Yes, I'm back, we can chat about that in other threads.

                  I don't have a problem with AIC going on....

                  Layne is dead...and ain't comin back....so they have to move on....

                  they took enough time off...out of respect

                  I've heard they sound GRATE...and are having a ball

                              AC/DC...dead singer

                              AIC...dead singer

                              The BAND deserves to go on...Like BON SCOTT's DAD told the boys..."Don't quit now"....

                              Now the sisters...their singer/FRONTMAN QUIT....he said..."You two drunken fucks can't get it together...call me when you do."
                              And TO SPITE DAVE...they kept the name...even though they KNEW the magic walked out the door with him.....

                              they HAD a choice...and...in typical SISTER fashion...fumbled the ball

                                      My hats off to any band that loses somebody like that....

                                      What a kick in the nuts to lose a brother so senselessly....


                                      The ones that kill me are the bands...like MOLLY HATCHET & HUMBLE PIE...that tour without 1 single original member.....

                                          Though...back on subject..I picked up SAP the other day...took me months to find it

                                          I realized that Layne was pushing Jerry to sing more on that one...

                                          what a BRILLIANT band...the most influential band of the 1990's...hands down

                                              AIC was the most underrated band on the planet...period...

                                              the only band out of the grunge era that transcended the grunge era...

                                              and weren't grunge...

                                              I concur...the lead singer dies...that opens up a whole nother look at what a band should/could do...

                                              Layne was one of a kind...doesn't mean the band should die with him...
