Sound familiar? It should, because it's the same rumor we've all heard in 1996, 2000, 2002, 2004, and now, 2006. Another even year, another rumored Van Halen rumor.

There seems to be some steam behind this rumor. The only question that remains is whether or not the steam is from an actual negotiation process, or a pile of heaping shit located somewhere outside of 5150.

Apparently, "negotiations between all parties have been underway for some time, trying to put together a big 2007 reunion tour."

Of course, we have all heard this before. So hold your breath one more time, because we are sure to roll through several roller coaster terms before all the "truth" comes to light.

when dimebag was shot and killed onstage my 1st thought was 'he killed the wrong guy'..the guy he should of killed onstage is sammy hagar and he should of shot sam when he sang "PANAMA"....Hagar has lived off the fame of vh and Dave for 21 yrs now and now sam has flushed his and mikes career down the toilet...now iam very worried that Dave will get in a fight with ed then ed calls hagar 2 come back 2 sing and the way ed has acted the last 21 yrs i bet he would call hagar back...i hope Dave and ed play it cool so the tour will happen..i still say we r gonna get a new vh album with Dave as lead singer and the tour..i went 2 the oct.21,2006 marksville,la. concert and Dave sounded great and after the show i went out back 2 hang out by his bus and the bus driver said Dave eats after the show so about a hour and a half 2 bodyguards and a casino cop walked Dave out 2 the bus and as he got close 2 me i said .great show my Roth' and he stuck out his hand and we shook hands and Dave said 'thanks freind' then he walked away and he got in a van and they were driving him 2 new orleans 2 catch a plane home cuz the tour had a week off..ive been trying 2 meet Dave for 25 yrs and i finally got 2 shake his hand and 4 me i thought that was cool.

the dimebag darryl incident was a tragedy on many levels. i would never go looking for blame, however, this could have been prevented and someone should be answering to it. unfortunatly, that doesnt look like it is going to happen.

comments that can easily be misconstrued (especially by the wrong people) are stupid at least and dangerous at most. that post could be seen as inciting hatred, something that we dont need. wether you like hagar or not, your words are uninformed and even less intelligent.

I watched a Van Halen concert from 1983 and freaked out. I realized there is nobody out there REALLY putting on a show. Where is our David Lee Roth? Why don't we get to watch a crazy ass frontman doing backflips and telling the audience he's gonna "fuck your girfriend". Why don't we have a band that has midgets on staff for towels and whiskey? Why don't we have a band out there so fucking good, it really scares the shit out of parents and other authorities.

That's what I call entertainment!! I'm sick of going to a show to watch a guy bitch and moan about his personal relationships. FUCK THAT!! GIVE ME A SHOW !! I sure hope Dave say's he won't do the tour if fat boy's not on board. Even thou he's not the best bass player in the world, he is still one of the founding members. And his backing vocals and screams are in alot of ways an intrecal part in Vanhalens sound on every album. And I'm sure Wolfie can't imitate that .........I don't care how tallented he is. Every original member of that band brought something unique to the table. And it can't be imitated. I say light the fuckin thing. It's now official!..... Fire it up.!!! Man....if it was Dave and Eddie and 2 other guy's I would still go to the concert. Dave and Ed wrote all the music. If they can get through this tour together without killing one another. I'm positive we will all get a 7th album with Dave's pipes on it again. Sure would like to hear those 3 songs from 2000. Or anything new from the guy's. A box set with a compilation of live shows throughout their cariers And include 4 or 5 new songs on it. Oh well it don't hurt to dream.
