    Question Atomic Punks.

I've been to their site and DL'd some clips with Mike A playing with them. They look good. Anybody from the Army see them live before? I hear they do Rush tunes as well.

The Punks are the best VH tribute band around...PERIOD. They don't do Rush tunes to my knowledge, but the drummer Scott Patterson is a member of a Rush tribute band as well.

I saw them two years in a row when they ventured to St. Louis. They're mostly a California band. Their lead singer sounds just like dave on the albums and he hits every scream perfectly. They also don't think they are VH. Some tribute bands are a little creepy and you get the idea they believe they are the real guys. If you want to see what Dave sounded like in his prime, see the Atomic Punks.

Very Very good indeed. Seen them a few times. They even throw in a couple of DLR solo tunes in the set. Anyone who sees them will have a fricken blast.

You must be on crack. The guitar is chorused from hell and back for one thing. The singer does have his Dave moments, but come on...he ain't even in the same league as Ralph Saenz.

The Punks are untouchable when it comes to VH tribute bands.

And yeah they do a Rush thing with obviously a different bass player, not Joe. That's the stuff drummer Scott really likes to play. So if you like Rush, you'll like it.

Love the Punks. They come here to Andover (Mpls. suburb) couple three times a year. Makes for a great Saturday night!

Russ is not with them anymore but "the rookie" is no sloutch.
