    Mean Street Guitars

    I've been checking out this site recently and I was wanting opinions of those who are more guitar savvy than myself. It's been a dream of mine for years to own a replica of Ed's 1984 Kramer guitar and this site upon first glance does a really kick ass job. I was wondering, has anyone done any business with this site, and if so, what are the specifics I need to request when making an order i.e. pickups...etc.

    I purchased this exact copy and Mitch (owner of Meanstreet) painted it perfectly with all of the wear, tear, cig burns and all. You can also get the paint job to look as if the "5150" were brand new. I also like how when he does any Frankie replica, he puts a quarter on near the Floyd just like Ed.

    Anyhoo, here's my model...

    Mitch is close friend of mine. I was in his wedding in 04. He does an outstanding job on his guitars. Anyone who needs a replica or one of their own, this is the guy. His attention to detail is unbelieveable.

    Taeo, it usually takes Mitch about three months from start to finish. All he asks for is a small deposit to get going, then you pay the rest upon completion. I swear my friend, you'll not be disappointed at all.

    Oh, I just bought my first bass last Sunday.

    I bought an old 1988 Kramer/Spector Bass with EMG pickups and it's a gorgeous Cherry Sunburst. Stole the fucker and when it was new it retailed for $3,200 bones. They're now somewhat of collectors items. Dumbasses sold it to me for $200 bucks cos they obviously had NO idea as to it's actual worth nor what the fuck it even is!!! LMAO!!!

    Looks similar to this except there's some black in the finish.
