Do you think De Martini was better than Crosby back in the days?

I've seen Poison three times...despite never wishing to see them. I do like their albums, I must admit. But live they suck shit! CC is AWFUL. They have a lot of energy, but the music is just an abomination live.

First time they opened for the immortal DLR.

Second time I won tickets as a door prize at a bar. The opening act was Tesla, who KICKED ASS!!!! Those guys, who can play their asses off, made Poison look really bad.

Third time I wanted to see Cinderella and Faster Pussycat badly enough, that I bought a ticket to see the undercard even though Poison was headlining. Loved seeing FP, then tolerated Winger, who weren't horrible, and loved Cinderella. I then walked out on Poison about 30 minutes in. It was one of those 80's metal shows a few years back.
        Stay Frosty, muthas!

Warren DeMartini is a very underrated guitarist and it's a shame i've never got a chance to hear him live, so if a Ratt reunion gets successful, maybe they'll come to Norway!

And with Poison: I only have 1 album and that's Native Tounge. One and only reason: Richie Kotzen! He ranks high on my list of the best guitarist today. He made the band sound much better that CC Deville, and the songs were better too.

DeMartini was Ratt's ace-in-the-hole, far as musicianship went. That's why he took the lion's share of the solos. Crosby contributed plenty on the writing side of it.

I'd also have to put Ratt a notch above Poison, in terms of talent. Yes, the lead singers of both bands were a couple of idiotic male bimbos, but there the comparison pretty much ends. Poison just plain sucked, regardless of how many records they sold.

No fuckin' shit. Killer lead player.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

A friend of mine has one of Robbin Crosby's Marshall heads that was given to him by Ed Van Halen.

                      I'd rather see ARCADE reunite!

Stephen Pearcy was here a couple of years ago doing the solo thing.
He played some shit bar. I remember thinking my how the mighty have fallen.
I would go see them if they came through Winnipeg.

the vocals of pearcy worked real well with that band.don't think he could have pulled it of with any other.

                            This is great news.

Hell -- for 2007, we got 'Heaven and Hell' (Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice) reforming...

....a "possible" VH reunion and now this.

Cool. Time to grow out my hair again and rock like its 1984!!!!

I always liked RATT -- they certainly had way more talent than all the other shit bands out there (like Poison, Warrent, etc).

I especially liked their song they did for 1991's "Point Break" -- Nobody Rides For Free.

Their CD Ratt & Roll with all the hits on it is great.
I liked everything they put out. DeMartini is a very underrated player.
He can really shred and "Sweep Pick".

Another underated and somewhat unheard tune is on "Collage" called "I Want it All" ... a different version of a song off Detonator ... All or Nothing I believe.
