    where will vh play

im thinking if van halen does do a tour it might be hard to get a ticket close to home.
our civic center here only holds 10-12 thousand and its not a major city
i live in illinois on iowa border and know they will go to chicago, peoria il, and probably cedar rapids iowa, but i have been to see van halen at those venues and got damn lucky to get a ticket.
i seen van halen sell out in 1.5 hours at a 20 thousand seeter and i would shit my pants if i cant get a ticket to a show within 200 miles from home.
with the days of internet ticket sales, tickets will go fast so what are everyones plans on a for shure ticket to a show?
if i have to i will pay some kids to stand in line for a couple days to get tickets.

I really don't think getting tickets for CVH sans Mikey is gonna be quite the clusterfuck that it would have been in 1996 had that reunion come off.

CVH ain't gonna be selling out stadiums. It's probably gonna be the same type of venues Van Hagar 2004 did, but maybe for two or three-night stands.

i dunno, here in the midwest ever since vh first came out it has been a hard ticket to get, like i said in original post classic vanhalen concerts sell out in a couple hours.
maybe im just thinking this is bigger than what it is.

I dunno. The sales may well be a lot more brisk and tickets much harder to obtain than I think...am not even sure if I am bothering with it (if it even comes to pass), and without Mike there, I'd just be treating it as a Roth solo show with the Van Halens as special guest performers.

I vacillate over actually wanting to see this or not to the point now where I almost don't even wanna bother thinking about it anymore, especially since nothing is actually even confirmed yet.

Once the reunion is announced and dates go on sale, I'll consider it. Would probably only end up going if the Florida Army Barracks put together a road trip and made an event out of it.
