Setzer is the most underrated guitarist. to me, he seems to be much greater than EVH. most people here even don't know him, though.
Don't notice most of my posts are less than 2 lines...

Extremely underrated! Setzer is probably one of the very best guitar players ever. I listen to kinds of music that I would not otherwise touch just to hear him. He and his orchestra have the best Christmas album out there.

Just as stated by others above, I think he is the single most underrated guitarist working today. It's also nice to see somebody who plays so well and is obviously enjoying himself. As far as the Cats, I think what he's doing now is even better. I think Brian likes it that way, too, so don't be expecting a full fledged reunion, possibly a couple of one-offs, though. If anybody doubts his ability, they just haven't been paying much attention.

Here's another smokin hot version of "Sleepwalk"

You know whats freaky about this. Brian is obviously known
as the head "Stray Cat". Anyone ever seen that Steven
    King film "Sleepers" ??

Its filled with cats (and cat people) and the mother in the
film keeps playing this song on her old 45 record
    player..

    Hmmmmmm, thats deep man

    Awesome performance !

Setzer says he's been asked to play on Robert Plant's next Honeydrippers CD (if Plant can make his mind up about even
making another one.) Not that I'm a fan of the Honeydrippers, but I'd give it a spin if he was on it.

Dirty Boogie was '98. Setzer continues to stay very busy and constantly puts out exceptional product. Everything that cat does is brilliant!

Setzer's one reason why I started liking rockabilly, and picking up some licks from it.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Anyone like that Choo Choo Hot Fish album? The production is alot slicker than the early stuff. Setzer's solo on Mystery Train is incomprehensible....unexplainable even.

I just moved to Holland in 1980 and I was 9 years old.
I saw runawayboys on BBC television and I was hooked.
I always wanted a Gretch and I played his music alot.

When they first started Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were gonna make them big but then Brain said:Keith and Mick had alot of commitments.
    They did it themselves..
Little Brian told Keith and Mick to go FUCK themselves...lol..I think Brian was 19 or 20..lol
    Real stray cat!
This guy in youtube has all the cool clips.(32deuce)

Not only the most under rated band.

That's wild the way they just sit there and work up the song like that. It's cool to see it come together so effortlessly. I love it when Slim says we should make this part soft, so Brian play's it that way. Then Slim instinctively knows when to speed up the beat (while playing on his knee's) just as Brian speeds it up . True masters of their craft.

Yeah I like the way Setzer remained true to the rockabilly thing no matter what. Original rock n roll is my first musical love. All ya need is a big ole double bass, a drum, electric guitar and awopbopaloobopawopbamboom!
