With Probot I think Grohl was trying too hard, or maybe not hard enough. Maybe he should have concentrated more on song quality and less on the number of guests. I tried to get into that one but as much as I wanted to like it, I couldn't.
King Diamond kicks ass though, as did Mercyful Fate . He is still going strong and is going to be releaseing a new CD sometime early this year.

Well, lately the Kingster's been working on finishing up a new album and gearing up for a tour. Andy LaRocque, his guitarist, has kept himself occupied by running his own recording studio when he's not shredding it up with King.

I liked the Metallica versions of Mercyful Fate's songs on Garage Inc better than the originals, mostly because King Diamond's voice is really irritating and annoying, IMO, but the music was good!

I have an old magazine where King openly admits that he does belong to the Church of Satan, and then proceeds to warn his fans that just because he is a Satanist there is no reason his fans should be.

He says that people should choose their own path in life based in their own beliefs and not try to be like their idols.

If that ain't class, dunno what is.
