Who should it be?
Ted Templeman
Neil Zlozower
Don Landee
Mike Stone
Gary Cherone (Since he's the only one not inducted! LOL)
Other (Please Explain)
Who should it be?
Here's another good question...
Will Ted Templeman be there?
He's always been the unoffical 5th member of Van Halen...
In my eyes...
It would actually be cool if someone like Josh Todd of Buckcherry or Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme induct them.
Gene Simmons. He can elaborate on how VH went on to greatness and made KISS so irrelevant, that they had to take off their make-up to get attention again.
H O W A R D
S T E R N.
Billy Corgan.
I voted for MIKE STONE.
If you've watched "Early Van Halen Years" DVD, it captures much of the infancy of the group, with Mike Stone being the bass player and he was the original that helped make the VH sound. The Sisters really wanted him in the band and I think Mike really regrets choosing school over the band. He said he knew they were destined for success. When Mike was with the Sisters and DLR, the sound had already been created. DLR refers to Mike Stone in his book "Crazy from the Heat" - he was very well liked by them all.
It would be nostalgic for a "former" member of "Mammoth" (before ROTH inspired the name change) from the group's home town of Pasadena, to do the honors....in my humble opinion

Jim Carrey - because this band is a fuckin joke!
I think that Jerry Cantrell it would be cool, for the support received by AiC in their early days.
Shine On!
Dave Chappelle!!!! I'm Rick James, Bitch!
Enjoy Yourself!
Jon Bon Jovi would be cool, VH opened the door for big hair metal/video bands.
Ted Templeman
actually i like the idea of steve lukather presenting,
Sammy Hagar
Their hometown heroes the Red Hot Chili Peppers might work. They are another "party" band.
Ed's hero Clapton would be cool if it had to be a former inductee.
Henry Rollins.
"Speaking of getting the fuck out, Roth quit Van Halen and from the interviews, it wasn’t very clean split. To say that there were some hard feelings would be approaching it. In the meantime, the band hired on a new singer. Sammy Hagar, one of the most incredible turn-offs known to mankind—diabolical."

I could see Rollins, and I can also see a group like the Chili Peppers as well.
How about Velvet Revolver?
Has anyone considered that maybe Howard Stern will be called upon to present this honor?
Anyone besides KID ROCK and STEVEN TYLER.
This one is easy! Sammy Hagar should present the REAL Van Halen with their award at the RRHOF ceremony. I think it's only fitting, don't you? He should hand it over to Dave then immediately move to the side of the stage (then disappear. Forever.) while Ed, Al, Dave, and Mike say their thanks to everyone else who had a part in making VH most legendary. I got it all planned out already.
Jeez, the answer is so obvious you can't disagree.
Your welcome.
