He broadcast his show from a church complex in Glendale, California, only about a mile from where I used to live.

Numerous times I would tune in, and he would be showing film of his quarter horses, and would scarcely mention the bible at all during his program.

Once I tuned in though, and he was standing at a podium in a theater full of people. He blew my mind with what he said, because he was not toeing the party line at all, but was being very honest, and telling the truth about religion in general.

Man, that dude knew the bible like nobody's business.

Not the 'fairy tale'.

He was a seriously well-informed individual. Most times he would just sit there with a fat stogie in his mouth, lecturing from an easy chair.

Of course he was a funny motherfucker. That was what made him so much fun to watch.

In the video above, he is reaming the ass of some conservative Christian asshole from Australia that was offended by the things he had been saying on his show because his statements did not conform to Orthodox Christianity.

Half of their preaching is a show. There's the main talking guy and the Bible reading guy. The main talking guy will start acting likje Lil Jon, going, "what?" and, "Yeee-ahh!" all throughout for effect. Meanwhile, this distracts from the fact that they didn't even point out anything significant. Like say the verse is something to the effect (and i'm making it up now) of, "His feet were darkened to the ground." this is the convo that would happen:

Main talking guy: Read that verse, Brother.
Bible reading guy: His feet were darkened to the ground
Main talking guy: his feet were what?
Bible reading guy: His feet were darkened to the ground
Main talking guy: to the what?
Bible reading guy: His feet were darkened to the ground
