OK, the positives: David Lee Roth IS back in Van Halen, we know that - and yeah, that is a GREAT THING! Van Halen is finally back to it's core creative direction, and with any luck - this shit'll WORK! We're getting a tour, and seeing David and Eddie on stage together is absolutely going to kick ass. For many of us, myself included, this is going to be a first!

The negative: Is it Van Halen without Van Halen? Is it yet another in an endless series of rip offs from camp Howdy Doody, crap that we've been force-fed since 1986? Is David only onboard because he figures it's this or nothing? Did he finally cave to Eddie's demands that Mike Anthony not be involved? Did David compromise?

The mystery:

Domestic touring will be hard enough on Wolfgang - and at 15, with as little experience as he has, that's going to be really taxing on him.

Unless a miracle happens and Mike Anthony comes back aboard, and everybody actually gets along with each other that long, I wouldn't expect it...
