I have nothing against it, it's just #6 in comparison to the others. It relied heavily on covers and gimmick songs. They are all great, but they can't compare to the bombast of the other 5 albums!

its a tough one and it changes every week but i'd say at this point:

Oh, er... Fair Warning is stellar, OK; but not just as much as the other 3 I put ahead.

The whole album is VH at their best, but I wish they had dug into the earth of Mean Street a little more on a couple more songs - though "Dirty Movies", "Hear about it later", "Unchained" and "One foot out the door" kick bull elephants' asses.

I'll always prefer WaCF - my Windows opens with the closing riff and closes with the intro to "In a simple rhyme".

2) Van Halen I (Blew me away first listen)
3) 1984 (Ahh, the Memories in my first car)
4) Women & Children First (I wore this record out)
5) Diver Down (Really grew on me over the years)
6) Van Halen II (A few gems but how you gonna top Van Halen I as a follow up)

I will not rate the Spammy Albums as I never purchased a one of them..
