                      All 4 guys on stage would be my preference.

                      But the core of Van HALEN is Dave & Eddie.

                      As for Van Hagar or any other such abomination - no longer interested at all. Hard to believe I ever bought those records.

                                                      The essence of Van Halen is Roth and Eddie. Never got into if it was Ed's guitar playing or Dave's showmanship that was the biggest factor.

                                                      If Ed and Dave are working together, I'll be more interested in that than anything Dave does solo, but unless Dave is around I could give a shit what Ed does.
