Dave Unreleased Demos And Rarities Solo Era Box Set

If Dave was about to release a Box set with the all demo takes and rarities from his solo era i will run to buy it !!!!!!
DLR BEST OF ...i bought it cuz "dont piss me off"
but a solo outtakes box set would kill !!!!
Not only for the die-hards !!
i guess every VHAGAR fan would buy it too just to listen to
the old van halen lead singer material

Im sure he would sell lots ..with all the vh reunion thing

I think only you and about 30 other people would buy it. I don't think you'll ever see it.

VH needs to release some old concert footage ala Led Zep.

Nah. Not so much DLR solo era.

I dig Dave solo, but the interest for hearing any unreleased stuff isn't there for me.

Plus Alex has a point. Other than the hardcore fans, Dave doesn't have much of a buying audience left in terms of solo Roth stuff, and the mixed results of Diamond Dave didn't help matters any.

I'd go for a classic Van Halen box set with all the demos from the 1970s they could load on there. Have a lot of them already. Even outtakes from the studio albums. A DVD could include the alternate takes of the Jump and Panama videos, all that Super-8 footage and 16mm footage from the 1970s and 1980s.........shit, no end to what's floating around out there. To have it all cleaned up and put on one DVD or 3 CDs Zep style would be sweet.

You know what, if f'n Cannibal Corpse can sell a box
set of every outtake and fart they ever committed to
tape, DLR sure as heck could sell a box set. These
days it's all the rage. Enya, Air Supply, whatever.
I'd buy a DLR box, if for nothing more than to
finance more DLR antics which I can read about in
    the sequel to CFTH.

Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Yep. Sign me up for that set. Of course having a classic VH box with tons of unreleased and live shit would be the ultimate, but the Dave solo shit would be killer too.

LMAO!!! Cannibal Corpse released a BOX SET??!!! OMG!! Too f***in hilarious. What's next? Venom's Greatest Hits? Slayer sings Christmas Songs LIVE? Mercyful Fate Unplugged? Motorhead Dance Hits? TOO F***ING FUNNY!!!

shut up Elvis! I bought all of your box sets!!! LOL

I would definetely buy a DLR box and I know plenty of other fans that would too. those Eat Em @ Smile demos found on this site are kick ass and if they were digitally remastered, they would sound even betta!

I would also like to hear sum of thoze outtakes from Skyscraper and A Lil Aint Enough! I love those fuckin' cd's and I'm a DLR fan, w/ or w/ out VH!

    Thumbs up

If Dave would release a box set of his demos, rarities & live tracks as a solo artist I would listen to it in a heartbeat(without buying it) speaking as an old VH/DLR era fan!!!

Dave and VH supposedly put together 4 tracks a while back
when a possible reunion was in the works. After that didn't
happen Ed said those tracks would never see the light of
day. What's the possibility of Dave re-recording those
songs with his current band and putting them on his next
album since Ed isn't interested in them?

I would definitely welcome any solo DLR vault material
    on DVD.
