This album isn't even gonna go gold.
All true CVH fans, own all original 6 albums.
This album isn't going to appeal to the mainstream, who already have the best of Vol. II...
Bad Marketing... and there isn't even a bons track!

I still think this is a record company cash in, that's all. Because of the Hall induction and upcoming tour.

Couldn't they atleast recorded a couple new tracks for this disc?
I mean... they did it for that asshole Hagar in 2004.

If they want a cash in, a double live album and / or DVD would go down a fuckin storm...

Everything Eddie does these days is usually a travesty to the band's legacy.

No new album in almost 10 years...and no new album that has counted for 23 years.

    Forget this crap!!!!

Tickets to the VH tour = Probably yes

Best of album 1978-1984 w/ no new music = HELL NO.

I will order the Neil Z. Classic VH photobook, that is a far better investment than this money scamming shit.

    People, people.

    Its a record company thing.

I doubt the band has very much to do with this release.

Rhino/WB can rerelease the back VH catalog as much they want.

LOL!! This sounds more like the usual DLR Solo Tour Setlist.

How many times are we going to buy a CD with the same tunes on it? Just because it's Van Halen?

If it were LIVE, I could understand, but ...

    What purpose does it serve?

Totally Agree. In fact, looking forward to Zloz' photo book - a true keepsake, coffee table book, providing many hours of conversation and viewing enjoyment.

"JUMP" - the one track most CVH fans don't care to know if it's included. Rather it be "Little Dreamer" or ?, anything but JUMP.
