Most Dysfunctional Band Ever

With all the dysfunctional history of VH what comes to mind is are there any other bands who were as or more Dysfunctional as VH. I can think of two. The Temptations who had lead singer issues, and tradegies due to their successes as well as Guns-n-Roses who have an Eddie Van Halen clone as a singer.

With the exception of Pantera, the problem was between the brothers.

The Ramones - Joey and Johnny had a falling out after Johnny stole Joeys girl. The animosity lasted till Joey died.

Sorum and Wieland don't get along (Velvet Revolver)

Egos, Money, Fame, Lavish Lifestyles, People catering to your every whim, chemicals, pussy, critics.....

Hmmm, what could possibly cause all of these bands to have issues?




Take the local bar band you played in way back when, multiply that by a factor of 1,000 and you'd have the slightest inkling of what it's like under the microscope.




If you survive with a modicum of brain cells, your publishing intact, and your sense of humor, you're already ahead of the game.




As a side note, most successful bands are no more dysfunctional than your average small business or family for that matter.

Pfff if bands were non-problematic they'd be inhuman. Everyone has their issues. I can think of Simon and Garfunkel, Everly Brothers, Crosby, Still and Nash, Nightwish, any pop band, the Eagles, Helloween, Kiss, Metallica, Tarot, Steel Dragon (lol), Nirvana, Iron Maiden, Stratovarious, Whitesnake.... I'm sure there's more. *^_^* \m/

The song was Joey taking a direct swipe at Johnny (the band's token Republican) for stealing his girlfriend. Don't how long it took Johnny to catch on to the joke, but they kept playing the song even up to their last tour.....
