The Gratest Rock Trio Of All Times Battle Royal!!

First of all, there's been alot of worthy mentions in the initial query. I'm sorry that I forgot about all of them.

Secondly, it doesn't take a subscription to realize The James Gang lost.

Thirdly, losing by whatever default is also the order of the day. This aspect of the new fucking poll also affords the afforementioned "viable write-ins" equal subjectiveness, or lack thereof. Here we go!

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer are history. Progressive? Yes. Continuing in this deal? No.

The Police are history. Viable? Maybe. Hard-Rocking-Fuckers'? No. Cream wins the tiebreak, based strictly on the imagined "hard-rocking-fuckers" scale.

Check out the new poll, and don't forget to vote!!!

I went RUSH ... and would probably go Triumph second, Hendrix third, Motorhead, Nirvana, Cream, Grand Funk ... with the rest about on an even keel to me.

Actually, I hated using the term "the rest" like the Gilligan theme song ...(pre-color).

Now that the New Poll includes Jimi...

I have to say THE EXPERIENCE.......

They changed ROCK....in the best possible way.....

All hard rock roads lead back to Jimi Hendrix........

LEMMY was a roadie for 'em...for a short while.......

        I still say Budgie.

        They just fuckin' kick ass.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Triumph is underrated. Nirvana is overrated. However, Rush is probably the best group of musicians.

Well, I've always thought it was a diluted Eliminator, buch each their own I guess....

                    Gentlemen,

All those trios have some great tunes.
I'll vote for Triumph though because:

                    1. I brought them up in round 1's thread

                    2. This is a Dave CVH board and "Rock N' Roll Machine's" solo reminds me of 2-finger tapping.
Was that a solo of the time or what?

Right you are, but does that makes Afterburner a bad record ?

                        The Experience.

                          I`m going for Rush.

I thought about Jimi, but when you think about it, he was the star of the show and Redding and Mitchell were side men.

                          Rush is more democratic.

Gotta go for Budgie, just an incredible band. Motorhead very close second though.
