Met Mickey years and years ago in Hamilton, then a few cities north of T.O. Good guy, great humor. Great punk band.

    The Forgotten Rebels.

Ah , The Rebels. Great band lame vids.
Mickey's not too hard to find around Hamtown .Good guy and a Canadian punk legend ,at that.
Back in '89 I was playing in a thrash metal band and we played a summer music festival. a friend of ours who happened to be his cousin introduced him to me and he told me he thought I was a kick ass player.
He then asked me if I was interested in playing guitar for The Forgotten Rebels. Although I was flattered ,I politely declined. I liked the band ,but I liked mine a lot better. He was drunk off his arse too ,so I tended to take it all with grain of salt.

Last time I saw him was at The Corkton Tavern in Hamilton. A friend of mine organized a Queen tribute night and invited local musicians to participate. He got up there and sang a smashing version of "I'm in Love With My Car"

He's now performing as The Mickey DeSadist Show.
