Subject 2007 TOUR
Body: First of all thanks to the mega fans that have e mailed asking about the tour that SOME media says is on one day and off the next. To begin with, don't believe everything you read in the media! I'm sure they mean well and they do a very good job. We appreciate their help and hard word tremendously. Its unfortunate that many times their sources aren't exactly 100% reliable. This has a tendency to turn simple issues into a media frenzy when in actuality the truth is very well hidden. Everything happens for a reason I suppose.
The entire band is looking very forward to the tour. Right now, as you all probably know the band is scheduled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame March 12th. Contrary to the thousands of messages received, the band is VERY MUCH looking forward to this honor and EVERYONE will get along fine. It is a tremendous honor for the band and greatly appreciated. Please know that it is because of all of you, the loyal fans of Van Halen over the years, that this milestone is taking place.
While Janie and Mr. Azoff will probably tear my butt up for making the following statement I feel it needs to be done:
THE TOUR WILL TAKE PLACE THIS YEAR!! We haven't been practicing over and over and over day and night to cancel a tour. THE SHOW WILL GO ON, AND IT WILL BE IN 2007!!
Regarding exact dates, locations, etc. I am forbidden from disclosing. People much more important than me make those decisions. As the saying goes "I just work here".
The same people have advised me to have ALL comments left on myspace approved before they will allow posting. Therefore, should any of you (AND I HOPE YOU ALL DO) chose to leave me a comment, please note it may be a day or so before it gets posted on the site. Again, its not my decision----I'm just a rookie and do what I'm told to do, so to speak.
