I support Dave's decision not to attend the RRHOF, but how fucking ridiculous it is to have the much-maligned replacement singer there accepting the award.

Despite what a few idiots on other sites think, the induction of Van Halen into the RRHOF is all about EVH, AVH, DLR and MA. It's about the cutting edge music and approach of four guys whose band became one of the most influential of all time in the metal/hard rock genre(s).

Sammy is there out of respect for the fact he was in the band for a significant amount of time. That's it.

Can't believe Eddie's timing. I agree with Max that Eddie's statement is pure PR, courtesy of his girlfriend. But that's not a bad thing if he's genuine. After all, that's what his girlfriend is employed to do and I think that under difficult circumstances (representing EVH), she's done okay.
