Did they get better then? I saw them open for White Lion in 88 or 89 and wasn't impressed. Their music wasn't bad per se, just nothing special, plus they didn't seem to be very cohesive musically of visually.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I don't have any albums from the Andi Deris era of PC 69. My first album of theirs is with David Readman.

I'm pretty impressed with a large portion of the catalog (that I've heard). Very good hard rock/melodic rock. If you're interested in trying something from the Readman era, try Electrified, Sonic Dynamite, or Thunderdome. (The stuff before that with Readman is a bit more alternative-y.)
