Hall of Fame Made Me Vomit... Twice!

I felt a little sick when Sam and Mike stood on stage as representatives of Van Halen. And I threw up a little in my mouth when Velvet Revolver fumbled their way through one Van Halen classic and a bizarre version of the horrible Van Hagar "song" Runaround. I turned the television off as soon as Mike and Sammy took the stage to perform. After all, I'm only human.

During his speech, Sammy stated that you couldn't have kept him away from the ceremony with a shotgun. Well, I wish someone had tried because seeing that mop-headed dufus accept an award on behalf of the mighty Van Halen was a travesty of the highest order.

The only redeeming moment was when someone in the audience repeatedly yelled, "THAT'S NOT VAN HALEN!" after Velvet Revolver's performance.

Quite frankly, I've been yelling the same thing since 1985.

what a pathetic entire show. I can't believe I watched it. From the start w/ that hailing of some dude who got rich off of black music who nobody ever heard of swimming in his private pool. Who the fuck cares about him?

Then the drunken ronnettes come on led by some dude who fell out of a tree 2 weeks ago.

missed grandmaster as I watched 24 on DVR.

Saw REM: highlight of the night, that band can still sing and imagine that all 4 members were there. One of them hasn't performed in about 10 years due to a brain anuerysm that burst while on stage.

Van halen should not be allowed to do anything anymore. Bury them before it gets worse.

Like witnessing a car wreck I guess, when you can't look away, at least until I finally hurled. So fucking sad...like somebody said a frickin "Tragicomedy!"

The only semi enjoyable moment was the sound of a guy that sounded like one of our concert going buds yelling "That wasn't Van Halen!!!"

Again, I'm glad Dave stayed away from this debacle. I'm bummed Sammy and Mike were put in a position to look like a couple of assholes in front of their families though. Jeez tho Sam, back away from the buffet and maybe get a haircut, and did you pull your fuckin clothes out of a hamper buried in the back of the closet since 1988? Ass clown.

I don't know why I kept hoping for Dave to show up.

Velveta Revolved made the worst act I had ever seen in my live.......but then Spammy anc Co. made a worst one!
I couldn't saw my girlfriend to the eyes for the rest of the nigth......what a shame.
Worst than anything.......my band since high school been represented by two assclowns
