I'd love to agree with you and say it was a message of "solidarity" last night, but unfortunately I think it was a case of good ol' fashioned selfishness.

Ed was too busy sobering up. (OK...not so selfish, but he couldn't have stayed drunk a few more days until after the ceremony had passed? Everybody was used to seeing him that way for the last 2+ years anyway...)

Dave didn't go because he wasn't going to get "his 3:22...."

But...I still believe there will be a tour. I just don't have any clue when that will be.

Hell, those fools consider Andrew at MelodiCROCK a valid source, just because he got lucky with the Velveetapalooza 2004 rumors. That's like one VH related story out of 50 that he actually got right.

So I'll take it with a grain of salt

I guess its not 100% against the realms of possibility.
After initial assesment and prescriptions, Eddie maybe
allowed to carry on the program from home.
Sounds dangerous I know, but it all depends on the
individual.
If he is home, hopefully he is still supervised.
