    Ed going into rehab got better news coverage than the HOF.

    No mainstream media channel wanted to cover the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction cerimony. Not MTV or even VH1. You had to stream it on the internet or have VH1 Classic.

    Nobody cares about the stupid R&R HOF.

    Eddie going into rehab was front page entertainment news in sevral publications and websites.

    If there was better media coverage of this event, I think Roth would have been there but MTV has morphed into something else and the public seems to be more interested in American Idol than aging rock bands now.

    I agree with this, the whole reunion comes down to Eddie being sober. Hopefully he'll come out of rehab in 4 weeks time totally clean ready to give Dave the call. Though when I first heard news reports saying "NASA has lost contact with Columbia" I put it down to a faulty radio...

    It got more news coverage than the RnRHoF, but overall stories about the band in print are nothing more than token blips.

    Last time they really got any bigtime print attention was in 1996.
