    Chris Cornell Tour 2007!

Hey kids, I am going to this show on monday, april 16th in NYC!!

CHRIS CORNELL Kicks Off Solo Tour; Video Footage Available - Apr. 9, 2007

Former AUDIOSLAVE/SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornell visited Xtreme Rock Radio in Las Vegas on Wednesday (April 4) to play an acoustic set on the Back Patio. Watch a video of his performance of his new single, "No Such Thing", at YouTube.

Cornell kicked off his spring solo tour last Friday (April 6) in Las Vegas. A video clip of his performance of the TEMPLE OF THE DOG classic "Hunger Strike" can be found at this location.

Chris Cornell's current touring band is:

    Chris Cornell - Vocals
Yogi Lonich (WALLFLOWERS, BUCKCHERRY, FUEL) - Guitar
Peter Thorn (COURTNEY LOVE, JEWEL, ALICIA KEYS) - Guitar
    Jason Sutter - Drums
Corey McCormick (RAFAEL MOREIRA, ROBERTA ROBINSON) - Bass

Chris Cornell's setlist from last night's (Sunday, April 8) show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN:

    01. Spoonman
    02. Outshined
    03. Hunger Strike
    04. Like A Stone
    05. No Such Thing
    06. Seasons
    07. Doesn't Remind Me
    08. Zero Chance
    09. Burden In My Hand
    10. Pretty Noose
    11. Call Me A Dog
    12. What Are You
    13. Poison Eye
    14. Billie Jean
    15. Rusty Cage
    16. Wide Awake
    17. Black Hole Sun
    18. Arms Around Your Love
    19. Jesus Christ Pose

The new Cornell album, "Carry On" is scheduled for release on June 5 via Suretone/Interscope.

Cornell's new U.S. single, "No Such Thing", has been made available for streaming via his MySpace page.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning Producer of the Year Steve Lillywhite, "Carry On" is the 13th career album for Cornell.

Cornell began working on the disc last fall after the release of AUDIOSLAVE's third album, "Revelations". News of the solo project fueled rumors of a split with AUDIOSLAVE, with Cornell officially leaving the band in February due to "irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences." The 14-track effort will feature "You Know My Name", Cornell's theme for the latest James Bond film, "Casino Royale", as well as a cover of MICHAEL JACKSON's "Billie Jean".

Bummer that he doesn't have a show scheduled in his hometown (Seattle) yet... I will go see him if he heads up this way.

Damn! I wish he had a date somewhere between Columbus and Pittsburgh. I'd definitely head to that show.

This is going to rule, because Irving Plaza only holds about 1000 people!!

This is only the initial promotional tour, expect a larger tour to follow.

Didn't get tickets in time. They sold out very quickly. I was waiting for a tour like this...would rather see this 100 times more than an AUDIOSLAVE show.

That setlist is killer with one exception: Doesn't remind Me.

That song is a piece of shit. In fact, all of audioslaves "Out of Exile" record sucked major balls. Sounded like nicey, nicey Hottie and the Blowfish rock to me.

Number One Zero was the only halfway decent tune on it.

Still wish he was playing more shows here so I could check out that setlist though: Jesus Christ Pose!!!!!

I just hope his new solo record is half way decent.....

I wasn't impressed with the James Bond tune...

He's playing Noblesville, IN (just outside of Indy) in May. I think the night before the race.
