Varsity Blues

I watched Varsity Blues last night for the first time.
Noticed "Hot For Teacher" on the soundtrack during the
striptease scene...

Now I dont know whether it was just crappy compressed
cable sound or just the way I was sitting, but this version
sounded different to the one on 1984.

My first thoughts were this is another flick where they
have used the Atomic Punks for a Dave/VH song.
But the credits at the end clearly state Van Halen.

Anyone know if this is indeed a remixed or different
version to 1984 ?

It's the same dude...They just chopped the song up a bit, Happens a lot in movies...BTW..That part of the movie ruled...IMO for obvious reasons.

(Even if rearranged !)

I even got goosebumps hearing a short part
of the intro to Runnin with the Devil on Little Nicky.. lol..
