Anybody Care to Speculate as to Wolfgang's "Official" Status w/ the Band?

I take it as a positive, actually. In addition to Valerie balking at the idea, I wouldn't be at all surprised if promoters started dropping "ALL FOUR OR FUCK OFF" bombs on them once they started shopping a tour. Now...say you add that to the potential difficulties that could arise from a public outing with both the Van Halens, Roth, Hagar and Anthony in the same room, and maybe Ed decided it was time to duck out of the public eye for a spell (or maybe it was decided FOR him)...meanwhile, Wolf drops a little "Oh, I'm still just a kid" bomb and behind the scenes, maybe they're working on some kind of arrangements with Mike for a 30th Birthday tour in 2008...

This is the scenario I'm HOPING for, but...we all know Van Halen isn't really that organized or insightful regarding it's own business affairs...

Still, hope springs eternal I guess...

I gotta hold out hope that even Crazy Eddie will realize that for a tour to be truly successful, all 4 original members have got to be there.

If they want to bring Wolfie out for a song or two to jam, then fine, whatever. But he is still a kid, and shouldn't be the "official" anything. He should go out and form his own identity with a band of his own.

Wolfie playing bass in VH was a half-baked delusional idea to begin with. If Ed's really gotten an altitude adjustment then sensible thinking may return.

If the band ever does return... their best bet is Michael Anthony. Anything else... just some no-name studio musician would be the best way to go. Anyone with a name in the business it would be suicide to any future career to be a part of this band.
