'96 was both of their faults, not just Ed's.
Egos & hurt feelings collided along with immaturity & deception.
Both parties dropped the ball, and that was prime-time for VH to reunite.
They can still tour today, but these guys will just look ridiculous.
'96 they still had some of their youth left & it would have been more believable.

This is my first post! Thought I would give in my two cents.
I personally just wish all of them would get mature, and reunite. I think it doesn't make a difference who insulted who (although I'd pick DLR's side in a fight any day). I think everyone wants to hear VH the way it was and by letting their egos get in the way they're just being selfish. At the very least it would be nice to get some news about a possible tour...even if the news is just that it's not gonna happen for quite a few years.

I wonder, though, if they were testing Roth, and the appearance on MTV (and the new tracks) were part of that.
