Sharon Osbourne has reacted to criticism KISS star Gene Simmons leveled against her and husband Ozzy Osbourne for the drug problems that have faced their children Jack and Kelly. "He said that our kids are on drugs and that his aren't messed up like that," Sharon complained to Blender magazine. "He'll always be C-list, and his wife's snatch has been rubbed on every pole in L.A. I'll fu**ing tear his head off and stick it up his wife's cu**!"

Can't help but thinking Sharon and Ozzy failed there kids as far as drugs are concerned - you could argue that Kelly and Jack were old enough to make their own decisions, which is true, but if they had been raised differently maybe they both wouldn't have made stupid decisions.

There's a difference between taking a drug, which a lot of young people do, and becoming addicted. Surely Ozzy and Sharon of all people whould have tried harder to stop their kids going down that route...

Gene Simmons is a New Yorker and New Yorkers are known for their up frontness and brutal honesty. Gene Simmons takes a lot of flak for being honest and I don't know why. It's usually people who can't stand the truth like Sharon Osbourne that hate him.

Why attack Shannon Tweed? That's a pretty crappy thing to say about someone's mom and long-term girlfriend. Saying Gene Simmons is on the C-list is laughable. Gene is a rock ledgend every bit as big as Ozzy Osbourne.

I give Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley a lot of credit allowing Ace and Peter as much of the KISS legacy as themselves after hearing what Ace and Peter did behind the scenes in their drug fueled days. It got really ugly and most people would not forgive those guys, especially a person like Sharon Osbourne. Paul and Gene forgave and forgot.

Sharon is an enabler. She is a mom and a wife and no question loves her husband and kids but what kind of mom gives a young pre puberty boy porn to look at? A good mom tells the boy the penis goes into the vagina and daddy's sperm swims into mommy's egg and makes a baby when they are ready to know such things. My mom did exactly that when I was about 7 years old and I asked where babies came from. It blew my mind because I couldn't picture my dad doing that to my mom.

Anyways, it was this same mom that had a long talk with me when she found a Penthouse Magazine in my room and told me such things were degrading to women and were a cheap representation of sex. She was dissapointed in me but she knew I was just a horny kid but she wasn't going to let me know that. She was in mom mode.

Sharron basically never had that mom discipline. Here jack, here's some porn. Hey kids, look at the groupies screw the band and crew.

Kids need rules and as Nick Simmons (Gene Simmons) son said, there are rules in their home and their parents follow some of the same rules. Alcohol is forbidden in the Simmons home for one thing.

The woman is nuts. Telling the kids she would have committed suicide if Ozzy died blew me away. It's like going, hey kids, I love dad but I don't care about you.

The way Kelly went off on Christina Agulera was behavior learned from her mom. No class. Christina took the high road and Kelly looked like a fool.

Sharon even admits she was not the best parent but when someone makes a comment that her kids were drug addicts she goes nuts and starts throwing horrendouse insults.

I don't think Sharron Osbourne is this horrendouse monster. She has issues, like her husband has issues. But she can be very mean and degrading. In a way I feel sorry for Jack and Kelly because they have to grow up when they didn't have any discipline in their lives and have always had their parents money.

You know what scares those kids. They feel they can't make it on their own and they want their independance. Plus, the whole world is watching. Money is great but when you sell out your freedom for it, you are still a slave and it doesn't take long to take the nice house and cars for granted and still be miserable.

Kelly and Jack Osbourne aren't exactly like Donald Jr. and Ivanka Trump who both hold ivy league degrees with very high grade point averages. I think Ivanka got a 4.0. Now they both work for their dad but if the Donald fired them, they could get by quite nicely.

Jack and Kelly are idiots. Without Ozzy's money, a landscaping company wouldn't even hire them because Mexicans work harder, complain less, and are happy to make what they get.

An uneducated rich kid with no talent is a pretty worthless commodity.

I have three kids and hey, it's easier to let them watch TV, play Nitendo or Playstation than it is to help them with their homework and supervise them as they do yardwork and chores inside the home.

But it isn't any harder than running a business and some people do that wonderfully and they raise horrible kids.

If Sharon put as much effort into Jack and Kelly as she did Ozzy's career, those kids would be better off.

Parenting is management and work. Sure there's love but love doesn't motivate them to wash the dishes or mow the lawn. You can love them and spoil them and creat fat slobs in the process.

A real good parent is like the old Japanese dude in The Karate Kid. He had the kid busting his ass waxing on and waxing off. Sanding the deck. The kid was complaining and ready to quit. In the end the kid saw he was being loved, taught, and nurtured into something great.

I had a hard ass Iranian math teacher that was like that. He said everyone could earn an A. Homework was graded on the blackboards around the room by having the students work the problems. If you didn't have a clue he publically humiliated you. Most students hated him. But he was available during study hour, lunch, and after school by appointment. Everyone helped everyone with the homework. He scared us all into getting A's. At the time I thought he was an asshole but today, he's one of the teachers I still talk to. He did me a big favor.

Nitro's right. Sharon's a crap mom and she knows it. That's why the venom towards a successful household like the Simmons.

Not only are have her kids had experience with drugs and rehab at such young ages, but she allowed them to quit school. Both of them. She's done nothing to prepare those two for the real world, independent of the family home. Even Sharon's monarcy requires their children to get an education and become certified in some sort of professional skill, knowing they'll NEVER have to work. But what did Sharon and Ozzy do? They created and enabled (Nitro's word is correct) their kids to become illiterate, useless spoiled brats.

Whilst I agree about them being spoiled and not appreicating the value of money, I would say that Kelly and Jack have both had experince of work.

Jack has a record company, and does TV and radio work, and Kelly had a minor record career and also does work.

Whilst that's not "proper" work to many, it still shows that they can do some amount of work when it counts - they could have sat on their asses and done nothing, right? Plenty of rich kids do.

What I'm saying is, maybe they have picked up a little of Sharon's work ethic, and business accumen? Or am I just being a little over-generous?

Kudos to Jack for sorting his life out too. He might be an "asshole", but at least he had the sense to solve his problems...

But had I been Sharon, if they were going into the entertainment field they would've finished high school and they would've BOTH gotten business degrees. That way they would be efficient in running their businesses independently of the parents and been true, licensed professionals in their field.

Yeah, well, considering where Gene and Paul were at with KISS in 1995 prior to Unplugged, which was basically headlining KISS Konventions after the Revenge/Alive 3 tour stiffed, one shouldn't give them too much credit for burying the hatchet with Ace and Peter for their problems in the late 1970s / early 1980s. Letting bygobes be bygones saved all of them (ALL of them) from obscurity.

Without Ace and Pete there wouldn't have been a mid 1990s KISS reunion to rake in the big bucks and shoot Gene and Paul back into the big time (am doubting they were gonna be selling out stadiums had they released Carnival Of Souls and kept Singer and Kulick in the band).

Terry, the Revenge Tour was a world wide success. Almost every night was sold out on that tour. It was a strong album considering their other non-makeup releases.

It was Peter that was making the convention tour circuits with his wife in tow. Gene and Paul showed up in Detroit, but that's because they love the town and their fans there and wanted to give back like they do every year for the fans in NY.

CoS was basically a diving board for Kulick and Singer. If you notice they get a fair amount of credit on that release and they wanted to spotlight them for their efforts. They knew if they did the reunion then it was going to be a 2 year deal. Peter and Ace both quit the band. They weren't fired. They walked away very rich men. They've been able to do what they want to prove their case and it still amounts that they were a part of KISS. Their talents no matter how good they thought they were weren't enough to make it without the KISS nameplate attached.

Per Kiss Alive Forever, the Revenge tour averaged 5,029 attendance, the lowest since the Hotter Than Hell tour in 1974, with virtually no sell outs of any arenas.

Even if I grant you everything you said as being accurate, it is fair to say that without the reunion with Frehley and Criss, it is doubtful Gene and Paul would have been headlining stadiums in the latter half of the 1990s.

And it's also fair to say that in the 2 years leading up to the 1995 Unplugged thing, Simmons and Stanley were pretty much doing the Konventions exclusively out of necessity because interest in the makeupless version of the band had waned by that point.

Singer and Kulick are capable players. Revenge was one of the better albums post-Creatures. In a lot of ways it's an unfair situation for all involved, but the truth is what the public wanted was the classic lineup of KISS. And it took four to tango. Ace and Peter were part of the four.

I just get tired of people inferring (not that you were) that somehow Gene and Paul did Ace and Peter a favor by reuniting, which they did, but that Ace and Peter in turn weren't doing Gene and Paul a favor as well....

....ah, what the hell? Let's agree that Sharon is a cunt and call it a draw
