I recommend the Frameshift CD to everyone - it's a full on prog-rock concept record that is heavy and beautiful at the same time.

Much closer to Dream Theater than Skid Row, that's for sure.

The new material that Bach played when I saw him live last is also kick ass: it's got that Skid Row vibe but much, much heavier and more aggressive. The album is called "Angel Down" and is due out in the near future, if he ever gets a record deal signed!

Great thread DT, Sebastian may not be the "youth" gone wild any more, but he can still kick major ass!

Huge Huge BAZ fan here! Went to NYC twice to see him. Once in jeckyl & Hyde and once for Rocky Horror! Had tickets and all and got to the venue the day before and it was cancelled for three days due to a performer illness! I've met him many times and he's always very vrey cool ... never called me MotherFucker like DAVE did!

No the album never came out. The official line was that they all had other "commitments".

I think they realized it would have been a lot of work with very little pay back...

DT, cool that you've met the guy. I waited outside for five hours to meet him before a gig, and he turned up late (no soundcheck) and had to be rushed in.

Dissappointing, but the gig was fantastic.

Sabastian Bach is appearing in this season of Trailer Park Boys as the boys' American connection for a cross-border drug smuggling scheme. Bubbles stole Patrick Swaze's model train from a model train expo; they recruited some new losers from the park to setup the track between Canada and the US (including traveling under a river through a pipe); and met up with Sebastian Bach at the model train expo. In the last episode Sebastian told the boys that he can't pay them cash for the pot but will instead give them a tractor trailer full of contraband cigarettes.

This season, so far, has been pretty fucking funny and with the Bach cameo over a couple of episodes has been one of the best seasons yet.

In a way, I'm glad that Skid Row haven't done a lame "reunion" tour like so many of the other 80s bands. Whilst I don't care for most of their post-Bach stuff, at least they're trying to go forward.

And it allows him to persue new avenues too...

He quit the "Jesus Christ Superstar" gig just before it got to Atlanta, or so I've heard. Needless to say, I didn't buy tickets. Saw Skid Row & C.O.C. here awhile back...like wayyyy back. Bach kicked fucking ass...just screaming like a mofo. Hell, WWYD after C.O.C. opened for ya?

Yeah he got in a fight, imagine that, with a performer in the show! The other guy was signing and messing up peoples BAZ memorabilia! How he managed that I don't know!? I would not hand anyone but BAZ my BAZ stuff!<br>
