It was a really, really great fight. Marquez is a true great, IMO.

Although I actually thought he edged Pacquiao in both of their fights, if a third fight is made at 147 he won't be competitive. It's too big for him.....

Katsidis fought with real heart. He reminds me a lot of Gatti: all the heart in the world but just not enough ability to live with the A guys....

Froch's girlfriend IS hot. He's becoming like Manny, though - I just want to see someone knock him on his ass, he's a bit too impressed with himself. JMM is an amazing counter-puncher; holy crap he was RIPPING that guy every time they traded, he's just amazingly accurate.

Agree Ward will likely destroy Abraham judging by his lackluster performance against Froch.

Indeed - Ward HAS to be the favourite there.

That being said, Ward does seem to favour fighting on the inside. I think that would be a mistake with AA - it will only take one shot from him, one of the hardest P4P punchers, to take Ward out. If I was in Ward's camp, I would be looking to use range and speed and stay the hell out of AA's way.

Anybody catch the Khan-Maidana fight? Khan was KILLING him on points (and ripping him with sometimes 6-punch combinations!) until he got clocked with an overhand right in the 10th that wobbled him, then he pretty much ran for the majority of the last couple of rounds... dropped Maidana in the 1st with a vicious body shot. What was stupid is Khan didn't go back to the body after basically pulverizing the dude's liver with that shot...probably would've gone better for him in the long run, since it allowed Maidana came back in the later rounds. Though he still won the decision, it wasn't nearly as convincing as it could have been...

Agreed Jay. It did answer some niggling doubts about Khan's chin though.

Khan is a great talent, no doubt, and Maidana is the first real challenge he's taken on. When he takes on the winnder of Bradley-Alexander we should be set for a real good fight.

He won on my scorecard. I don't think a majority draw is out of the realm of reason. I'm not sure how Tarver scored the fight for Pascall by two points though. If i was Pascall i would be scared to death of a rematch, especially if it were to be in Las Vegas. I don't think Pascall can get away with a rematch taking place in Canada again.

I had Bhop up by a point. Added to the fact that I'm not convinced that the first KD was legit, I think he won the fight. Like you say though SS, a draw is not out of the realms of possibility.

I like Pascal, alway have; but getting taken to the limit by 45 year old man is humbling after beating on Dawson. Right now, a rematch with Bhop or a rematch with Dawson are his only options. After watching that fight, Dawson has a template with which to beat Pascal.

I think Mayorga comes out as usual trying to be macho and giving up his chin too much. Then Mayorga tires and gets knocked out about round 6.
