For my money haye is just to fast and chisora has been very Hittable in the past ... Chisora has a decent
Chin but I think it will get tested and I think haye will get to him by round 7-8 and knock him out/stop him.
Haye has to be motivated this is weirdly another chance for haye to get a title shot ... I think whoever wins the klits management team will see a lot of money generated by this fight and want a slice of it , so whoever wins this fights a klit Next in my book .

If Haye wins he'll get Vitali next.

He should have gone for Vitali in the first place. Team Haye were seduced by the weakness of Wlad's chin and clearly thought if they could crack it they'd win - they forgot that Wlad is actually very quick for a big man, extremely mobile and has a decent defence.

Vitali - whilst much, much harder - is easier to hit and slower than soil erosion. Haye would have been able to hit home against him.

This all comes down to the fact that boxing is not really sanctioned. There is no equivalent to 'FIFA'.

The Board of British Boxing Control is not a government run agency. It is a company. The result is that another board can sanctions fights on British soil.

Boxing would certainly be in a healthier state if there was one board, with one belt per division. But it ain't going to happen.

So 17 weight divisions and 5 World Champoinships(including The Ring) so that's 85 world champions plus the Olympics.

Then you have continents and nationals.

Would it not be easier just to list the people that aren't champions?

Well, the weight class thing is fine by me. Its the five champions in the weight class that's annoying.

The truth of the matter is that the fans know who the 'real' champs are............

In other news on September 8, 2012, James Toney will fight Tomasz Adamek,Might be interesting.I say Toney's lack of footwork will cost him this one.Adamek is an active fighter in good shape and i don't see Toney winning.I don't quite understand why this fight is being made though. For Toney it is a great fight but for Adamek i can't see anything coming from a win

On Haye - Chisora i say Haye takes it.Chisora will come to fight but he is not hard to hit and Haye has better footwork.I can see a few scrappy exchanges and clinches but for the most part I say Haye will flick his jab and stick and move.Prediction,Haye by knockout in round 8

I think Adamek is way, way too much for Toney at this stage of his career. The work rate will be too much.

James Toney is a fat, loudmouthed joke. He hasn't gotten himself in good physical condition for a fight since he fought Roy Jones Jr. It says a lot about his natural gifts that he has been able to have any kind of career at all after letting his body go to pot the way he has. In some ways he has made a mockery of boxing and I long to see someone stretch his ass out one good time.

    Jimmy Bivins died this morning.

    http://www.cleveland.com/obituaries/...p_clevela.html

    http://www.boxing.com/ten_count_for_jimmy_bivins.html

Although he never fought for a world title—such were the boxing politics of the day—he was ranked number one contender in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions and fought a veritable Who’s Who of great boxers on an undeniable great era.

He fought Teddy Yarosz (105-14-3) and Melio Bettina (57-11-2) in 1941; Billy Soose (34-5-1), Gus Lesnevich (52-6-5), Bob Pastor twice (51-6-4), young Joe Maxim (14-3), Tami Mauriello (41-3-1) and Lee Savold (77-29-3) in 1942; and Ezzard Charles (28-2-1) and Lloyd Marshall (41-6-2) in 1943.

Those were just the highlights of Bivins’ first three years of active duty.

Bivins continued to fight the best of the best: Archie Moore in 1945, 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1951, Jersey Joe Walcott in 1946, Ezzard Charles again in 1946, 1947, 1948 and 1952, Harold Johnson in 1949, and Joe Louis in 1951.

Bivins defeated eight of the eleven world champions he faced. He retired in 1955 with an 86-25-1 record. The Cleveland Spider-Man was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1999.

It'll be interesting to see how it turns out...seems Nonito's power didn't come along when he went up in weight...dude still has skills, though.

I am looking forward to it.Mathebula will have to use his jab to try and keep Donaire at range as he is not a big puncher,Stopping his opponent in only 14 of his 26 wins. Also this is his first fight outside of south africa i believe in front of a pro Donaire crowd,That will have an impact.Donaire's hand and foot speed will be the thing that wins this one for him,Coupled with his ability to throw punches from any angle.I would say Donaire wins by 8th round KO.It should be a good test for him though

    Donaire is ridiculously talented.

If he keeps focussed, we might be witnessing an ATG.

Totally agree... funny how he shys away from a potential PacMan fight, but I think if he doesn't have the power to put Manny down, he could definitely frustrate the hell out of him skill-wise, enough to potentially eek out a decision against him...that's a fight I'd like to see..y'know AFTER Floyd kicks Manny's ass...

Donaire is way, way too small for Manny. He should not even be contemplating 147.

Pound for pound, he is a far superior fighter. But head to head? Bad news.

So, both Froch and Bute are fighting TBAs in November and then having a rematch in March 2013.

What on EARTH are team Bute thinking?

Didn't see bute wanting any of that ... Maybe his team have kept the video of the fight away from him , because if he see's it he would have nightmares .
All the sites talk was of Froch wanting Kessler again .. I would be happy with that , I could watch those two tear it up .

Kessler-Froch is a good match up to my eyes, but if Bute exercises the rematch clause what can you do?

Kessler could take on some of the boys at 175.....

Kelly will probably get Kessler next. Kessler might also get the winner of Abraham-Stieglitz.

Personally, I think anywhere above 160 is bad news for Kelly. The layoff has been a long one and I think Froch or Kessler might end him at this point.

As for Wlad-Thompson, I'll go Wlad TKO 9-10.

It is indeed. But check out some youtubes, that guy has sweet skills. And the 'experts' are already putting him top 5 on the current pound for pound lists.

The problem is that weights below 147 don't get much press....

Had to laugh at this.I am watching Boxing on 5 and Tyson Fury is wanting to fight Wlad next year.Fury says the only thing Wlad has on him is ring craft and experience,So two of the more important aspects of Boxing then Mr Fury

If Adamek does get Fury next i will be hoping and praying he knocks that fucker out. That fight reminded me why i don't watch Tyson Fury fights. He has no natural boxing talent. He plods around the ring on clumsy uncoordinated feet throwing lazy jabs and wild hooks all the while the commentators are shouting "LOOK AT FURY,A SNAPPING JAB AND CRISP RIGHT SET UP BY BRILLIANT FOOTWORK"

Were they watching the same fight i was?
