All of us who grew up on Mrs. Knotts Chicken dinners at Knott's Berry Farm know that it was the food of the Gods. That fried chicken downed with an ample supply of boysenberry juice was worth a 50 mile hike through hell to get.

I guess for fried chicken, KFC still is tops, but there are others that are pretty damn good. I like Dixie Lee.

Canadians like our chicken rotisserie, and you cannot beat the Swiss Chalet. I'd bathe in the sauce if it were socially acceptable. St. Huberts is not bad, but I find it overpriced. In Montreal you can find good chicken at pretty much every pizza joint. There's also a small chain called simply Chalet ( not to be confused with Swiss Chalet).

This place has baked bar-b-que chicken that is so fuckin' good. As long as this Mom n' Pop place sticks around, I could give a shit about eating fried chicken ever again.

I'm gonna have to go with KFC original recipe. But when I was a kid, there was a place called Pic-Nic-N-Chicken. Not sure if it was a national chain or not, but there were a few in San Diego. Damn good food.

Oh yeah, El Pollo Loco has decent chicken, although not fried.

Let-me-tell-you, motherfuckers at the Krogers in Georgia like it as well. Every two weeks, they put the rotisserie chickens on sale for 3.99. Cuntveniently enough, bags of salad get reduced, and Mac & Cheese is ten-for-ten-dolla!! It's like a free for all around 1630 hours...every fat mom/lazy whore within 2 miles of the store go fucking crazy!!
