can someone here tell me a good program that will let me downsize pics to put them on this site.

If you have XP, just load the image into Paintbrush
then change the image size, and save it to
a new filename, Paintbrush can also do basic format
conversions. (for example bitmap to jpeg)
Jpeg or Jpg are the best for web use as they
are the most compressed and create a smaller
filesize..

Ah. also there's a restriction on flesize here,
so its best to upload your pics to a filesharing service,
and then just put the link in your post.
If you use the image option, then it will appear here
as a picture, not a link...

I personally use irfanview http://www.irfanview.com for changing file sizes. Free and simple and has nice thumbnail and screencapture function as well as can break down animated gifs. As for editting completely. Paint shop pro, photoshop or corel draw ( I have 7,8 and 9 or as some say CS and CS2 for photshop). You'll need a torrent program or XDCC catcher or mIRC to get those unless you want to pay over $500-800. Watch crack sites because they can load crap on computer or use program called craagle for crack or serial. Video editting I use numerous program that I won't outline and I also use Flash MX have tried 3Dmax and especially like textosterone.

As for host site. If you don't want to ever find it again and don't want to sign up for another site then use www.imageshack.us which is pretty simple and can auto reduce size of pic for you. But, I prefer to keep mine in storage for later usage and see thumbs of them over at www.photobucket.com in which I have 2 sites. Is free or you can donate and hosts video and pictures to a certain extent.
